Attention: Problems with Editing

Hello ladies

Could all those who have problems with editing their post please reply to this, and state which browser they are using (e.g. Firefox, Internet Explorer 8 etc).

With the 'quick edit' tool there may be some issues with the compatibility with different browsers. I run Firefox 2.0.0.7. and it's fine, so I wanted to see if there's a pattern with the other browsers and members that have had a couple of problems with editing.

If you have had problems, you can try clicking the normal 'edit' button, then clicking 'go advanced' in the edit screen, and I think you may be able to edit your posts this way for the time being. Let me know if this works for you.

Yes I am and I don't have Explorer

I don't blame you! I just asked because we used Safari at uni with the dual processor iMacs...wasn't sure if Safari can be used on PCs.

I'm still looking into this... bear with me...

Sometimes sites don't accept Safari but the editing function is the only problem I've had on this site. And Safari was released for use on Windows in July 2007. I've tried other browsers but always come back to this one.

If this problem happens again, could you both try pressing shift & F5 and then try editing again. This is so I can rule out whether it's a problem with your browser's cache. Thanks!

I used the Edit and it worked fine. I am using IE6 on Windows XP
