The weather was glorious and the organisation by Riviera was excellent. We saw all the sites. Unfortunately OH was not well so although we joined all the trips I was very conscious that he was "gritting teeth and putting a brave face on". He only agreed to go for me as he had said that Paris was just a dirty smelly city like London so that made it even less tolerable for him. I'll post some photos later.

Hi Cindy, sorry to hear your OH wasn't feeling so well, but it seems you still managed to have a lovely time. I've never been to France, so would love to see the piccies! X

Here are a few photos. I have lots more and have being trying to put them on Flickr but it keeps crashing! OH now says that we should go back to paris again and explore independently. I won't hold my breath though:D The first 4 are of the gardens at Versailles. There were enormous queues to go inside the chateau so as it was a beautiful day we spent the time wandering around the gardens. The fountains were installed when it was built and we were fortunate to be there when they were "played". Music accompanied the water display and it was certainly spectacular. Unfortunately the music was not switched off in conjunction with the water so we were accompanied by piped music wherever we went!

Lovely photos Cindy. We went with Riviera and only had a morning at Versailles, before we moved on to Monet's garden, so I queued to see the house and didn't see much of the gardens so would love to go again.
