Hi all, does anyone know the best way to fill a couple of holes in ceramic tiles? I have moved a bathroom sink out of the way of the door, and this has left two screw holes in the exposed tiles from the old fixing. As the tiles are old and have a sort of multicoloured speckled finish I am hoping to be able to fill the holes with something suitable and paint the filling to match - but with what? Any advice welcome.

My husband suggests tile adhesive or poly filla letting it go really hard before painting. Hope this helps.

Thanks dinger, much appreciated. I'll give it a try this weekend.

It worked, dinger! I used tile adhesive gently sanded down when it was hard, and carefully matched in the design with acrylic paints. You can only see the patching if you squint at it from a couple of inches away. Thanks again to Mr D.
