Have any of you experienced this and what effects did you have - sickness?

I haven't experienced it, Sheddie, but a close friend of mine does. She feels nauseous and dizzy if she climbs stairs, and sometimes faints if she looks down stairs or over balconies etc. Afterwards she has a buzzing noise in her ears, but lying down horizontally makes her feel better. She says that she knows when she is going to experience vertigo as her vision starts to alter and the edges of things look out of kilter. She mostly manages to control it by looking fixedly at a point directly ahead. It started about 6 months ago after she had a bad ear infection, so it seems connected to balance. Her doctor says that it probably won't be permanent, so if you are experiencing those types of symptoms then best to see your GP.

Thanks Jazz it's my daughter, she has had several dizzy turns where the room spins round and she has been sick, but she's still on her diet and there really does always seem something to worry about. She will have to see her GP .X

I can't for instance climb up our local lighthouse to experience the beautiful view! My legs feel shaky, it feels as if everything inside my body shivers! I suppose that is vertigo as well? Regarding your daughter Sheds, I remember a few years back I just fainted on the spot for now apparant reason. When I went to my GP he established that suffered from low blood pressure. I also had a few panic attacks in the past, and it made me also feel quite faint with the blood rushing through my head. Quite a strange feeling. Hope Jo is fine by now?

Hope she's fine now? Once she has some medication to stabilise the low blood pressure, things will be better! xxxx
