Hi everfyone...did anyone happen to see a programme on tv i think it was about a month ago where they were telling you about yurts you can stay in which teach you a little about eco living? They had a bike generator outside the yurt to provide the power.Or does anyone know any holiday locations where you can stay and learn in this kind of environment? I cant remember what the programme was and would like to go and stay somewhere like this :D

Yes Softie, I'm keen on that idea too. There are quite a few places that do it now. The one on TV was called Featherdown Farm - www.featherdown.co.uk. Have a look on the Permaculture magazine website www.permaculture.co.uk and you will find quite a few options for holidays, and also for lots of eco-courses.
