This was a panel given to me so i have made a quilted cushion out of it, it will go into the raffle at the next WI garden party.
Never done this technique before so quite enjoyed it.

Our fortnightly raffle used to be of really nice things until one member took it upon herself to provide the prizes and honestly I think she rummages through the bargain bucket at the charity shop! It's hard to find a tactful way not to buy a ticket or if you do, to have "lost" it when the raffle is drawn and prizes claimed. Wish we had your class of prize!

It is a lovely panel Gentian and I'm sure they will buying lots of raffle tickets. I like quilting small panels by hand but next time, at my quilting class, I have to do a large one on the machine.

That is really pretty Gen - it would look lovely on my rocking chair..................
My mum used to dread winning a raffle prize at her local WI as more often than not it was something in a packet that was date expired!

The chair by the way is my great grandfather's which has now been passed down to me.
Next project - recycle a pair of jeans, my idea is coming together - watch this space.

I love seeing what you make too, Gen. You are so talented with any type of sewing. It's a beautiful picture, and no-one would regret winning such a cosy cushion to lean on with a cuppa. Lucky person, I think.
