The lady who lives opposite me is in her early forties and has a husband and two small girls, she has been struggling with bone cancer most of this year. She has lost her hair then it has regrown, she always has a cheery hello to say and her bright lippy on, even when you can see she's far from well. She used to be a sports woman and has now had a hand rail fitted outside her front door to help her up a couple of steps. Those children do not miss out on a thing, she takes them everywhere and is living life to the full. She never talks or complains about her illness and is an absolute inspiration to me and I hope to you. So you see what we are perhaps worrying about, is it so important after all?

Very well said sheddie.People like this lady are a wonderful example of what faith, hope, and positive thinking can do;most of our problems pale into insignificance compared to the problems of someone like that and it certainly puts life into perspective doesn't it.

people like that are amazing and an inspiration to us all.they say you dont know what inner strengths you have till you need them.
Now I feel ashamed for moaning about my sickness!

Don't feel ashamed mrsj it's a seperate thing. Her little girl sang to me yesterday a song called bananas in pyjamas coming down the stairs, she made me laugh!!X
Oh I know that song, I used to sing it when I was little (and sometimes I still sing it ha ha)!

My neighbour I spoke of has put a card in my box of a beautiful country church. She came in my house and saw I use an old pine box for a coffee table and storage and loved it, so I have given her a similar one from my 'props' days. She has written on the card, thanks for being such a fantastic neighbour. I feel quite proud.
