advice on photos please

Hi all! I have been trying to upload some photos onto RM for ages, but it seems that they are too big. I have tried resizing them on my computer but it still doesn't seem to work as they can't be reduced small enough. Is there some other way to resize them? What is the correct size for RM? I can see that other people manage to do this fairly easily, and I don't think that my photos are any more colourful or large, so any tips would be welcome.

Jazz you have a fuji finepix camera the same as me. Mine came with a disc that you put in the computer and download. I have the 'finepix viewer' icon on my desk top and I just click on it, click on 'see other folders' to find the folder containing the photos, choose the photo you want then click on resize. It then asks if you want to modify the original or save it in another folder. This is the right size for RM.

Thanks for your advice, I'll give it another try. Unfortunately, there was no way of repairing my Fuji Finepix, DF, as its sensor had broken down, so I now have another camera - a Panasonic this time. I guess that the computer programme for this one is similar to the Finepix Viewer, though. I'll have another try at it.

Update: I think that I've managed it with some of he photos. Have a look on the arts and crafts forum if you would like to see some of my jewellery.
