I have just booked my tickets for the Knitting and Stitching Show in Harrogate and am wondering if any RM-ers are going this year on 19 - 22 Nov? I went last year, and what a fabulous show it was with over 300 stalls selling and demonstrating everything to do with fiber crafts and also lots of excellent workshops. I am looking forward to buying lots of felting wool from different countries - my favourite wool to use is Norwegian, as it felts down really evenly and the colours are so lovely. I am also after some natural dyes to dye my own wool (not really mine, the sheep's!). I have booked for Saturday 21st but the ticket can also be exchanged for the Sunday. I am taking Niece, as I assume that she can't come to much harm amongst piles of wool and cotton! If anyone is going on the same days do you want to meet up in the coffee bar?

Oh I would love too! Bit far I suppose, probably won't make it. But you enjoy it Jazz together with niece. As you say she can't come to much harm in such crafty and lovely surroundings. I hope you get lovely stuff, remember to come and tell every little detail eh? X

What a lovely day out for you and your niece. I wish I lived in the area the knitting would interest me.

Would love to come and meet you both. Send us a photo of you both stretched out on those piles of colourful Norwegian wool!

I went a couple of years ago, but last year and this it clashes with the CL Fair in Glasgow. Maybe next year when I've finished work I can do both!
