This was sent to me by email and I thought you might enjoy it.

This video was made in the Antwerp , Belgium Central (Train) Station on March 23, 2009, with no warning to the passengers passing through the station. At 8:00 am a recording of Julie Andrews singing 'Do, Re, Mi' begins to play on the public address system. As the bemused passengers watch in amazement, some 200 dancers begin to appear from the crowd and station entrances. They created this amazing stunt with just two rehearsals! Enjoy!
This will bring a smile....

I loved it. Thanks, Gentian. It just makes you want to join in, doesn't it? I would have been jiggling along in time! I was once on a bus when some young people started singing and dancing as a piece of guerilla theatre. It was amazing how it cheered everyone up and got everyone laughing and talking. I wish that travellers weren't so austere and wrapped up in themselves most of the time.

I remember many years ago when we returned home from a distant place we had a performance, we used to sing most of the way home, even being dog tired! Saturday evenings we used to do the more distant places, sometimes we returned home on the same night, sometimes only the Sunday morning. When we did travel home on the Saturday night it usually was very late, midnight hours, and as I mentioned, dog tired but boy to sing in the bus/Kombi all the way back home was just so nice and relaxing. Perhaps because it wasn't a repitition, just casually singing. I loved it and still miss it. xx

Sorry, I'm off topic here...... got carried away ......xxx

I remember singing on the bus on school trips. My sister and I also used to sing in the car on the way to and from places, and when our nieces were young they also used to sing in the car. I really enjoyed it. Maybe more people should sing or dance in public places.

It would be nice if more people did sing in public, it could brighten up a mundane day.
I think singing must release a happy hormone for you always feel happy after singing.

We went to Venice in a group and one evening took a boat to the islands in the lagoon for dinner and we sang all the way back across the lagoon - magical
