Do you I wonder always have fresh flowers in the house? I do, even if it's just a small bunch of tulips I feel it makes a room home.

I have lots of different vases and old jugs, milk bottles etc that I change and put the flowers in, so do you have flowers in the living room? X:)

I love to have flowers in the house on a regular basis, but most of my garden is now dormant (as we head closer towards our winter). The only thing in flower at the moment are my few pretty camelias. I do buy flowers when I can, and try to display them in a variety of jugs, vases, and old jam jars. I especially love having them in the bedroom - the perfume is divine, & they give me that 'exhale' moment at the end of the day!

Baa I just don't feel right at all without seasonal flowers in the house... I can't bear artificial ones though. X:)

I do really prefer to see flowers growing naturally, but now and again I have flowers in the house and they do give me a lot of pleasure.

I love to have fresh flowers in the house too. Especially flowers from our immediate area, like the proteas, etc. Got a little bunch on counter between kitchen and living room at the moment. We're also nearing our winter and flowers are a bit scarce. My Icebergs still have some roses on. I don't want to pick it now, because there's not a lot. xx

Hi Sheds, it must look very nice, orangey tulips in a glass jug. When I first saw crocuses I actually thought it was tulips! But on closer inspection and asking someone, I learned that it was crocuses. This was on our first trip to the UK, somewhere near Cambridge. It was in a field next to a pub with the name "The Slap Up". xx

I love flowers too, but sadly they are one of the things that has gone in the economy drive that OH and I are on at the moment. The house feels so bare without them, but needs must.
