I guess you must all be either entertaining, busy, watching X Factor or have much more interesting lives than me! :)

Having a good weekend? I spent most of today sucking up leaves from the lawn. With a special leaf blower (that vacuums too) of course. Not down on my hands and knees with a bendy straw!

Tomorrow we might nip out to eat some cake, and I want to get my bulbs planted in. Got some work to do and lots and lots of housework, bah humbug. It's a rock'n'roll lifestyle for me!

Hi Kate, I love choir music and singing in a choir very much! I hope you enjoyed every minute of it and I wish I could come and listen to your performance! I joined a choir quite a few years back, and enjoyed it so very much!

I'm waiting for something I'm selling on eBay to go...it's doing well so far which is great. About 10 mins left so here's hoping I get a really good end price!

Did it sell Oola and did you have a good result?I must start to get some things on again, but it's very time consuming don't you think and all that measuring, weighing and packing.I preffered a good local auction myself, but most have disappeared.

I was out last night at my parents as my Sister and her hubbie were over for the weekend. We had a HUGE tea (I'm still fat and full!), made plans for christmas, drank plenty and generally had a good time. This morning we're back to work on the house, plaster boarding the landing ceiling then demolishing the hall one. Oh well as one goes up another comes down!

Hi Crocus, yes I did enjoy it,it was hard work because sevral of the things we sung were new to us and so we had to concentrate really hard to learn them in the space of a couple of hours! Our next concert is Nov.21st and we are given supper as well!! that is organised by the local Methodist church where we rehearse each week. Next visit to Cartmel Priory is next March for Stainers Crucifixion if everything works out ok.

Hi Kate, we performed a Passion Play when I was still part of this choir many years ago, and we rehearsed late into the evenings! Most, most enjoyable, and I wish I could do it again.

Well, yesterday, I had my grandchildren around and we made ginger and orange biscuits.....loads of them. When they cooled, the girls decorated the biscuits with silver and pink balls, sugar flowers, and stuff that looked like beads you could thread. So that's where I was last evening!! I was exhausted but had a great time.

Well I've been away on a rag rug making course,2 day sessions at Rosemoor RHS Garden. I can now prod and hook (after a fashion), also learnt how to use a peg loom and knit with T shirt material. I've planned out a rug, hessian supplied so no excuse now. Don't like just sitting in the long winter evenings.

I didn't get the bulbs in!!!!! ARgh! Hopefully this week.....again....

the eBay item went quite well, helps to pay the bills and all this month! The guy will receive it tomorrow, hoping that he'll like it and give me good feedback. Thing is, I forgot that I'd left a song on there that I'd recorded of myself singing....it's in amongst the 164 odd songs lol. How embarrassing!!!!
