Just to say a big thank you for all your ideas & the stall looked great thanks to advice. Just as you said, the public nowadays want to know where everything comes from. Their farm is 2 mins. from Tavistock, so could not be more local. My daughter had a black apron with Ruby Red written in red, red checked tablecoth, leaflets, banner at the back & delicious looking steaks, joints, stewing beef etc. Quite a bit of interest in skirt! A long morning but they were asked if they would be back next time & it didn't rain!

I shall be looking out for the red checks next time we're down in Tavistock, susiedart. Hubbie is very partial to a good bit of Devon steak, being a Devon lad himself! Good luck to her.

Eleanor - Bideford is quite a hike from Tavistock, bit of a cross country route & a good hour. We drive to that wonderful RHS garden, Rosemoor out that way & it is quite a day out.

Very well done to your daughter Susie, we have a local market each Thursday and the butchery always does a roaring trade. It sounds as though she will quickly gain a foothold with the locals and go on to be very successful.
