Has anyone made a lovely intensive hand cream recipe and posted it on here?
I would like to have a go at making some. My inspiration came from the price of some Vaseline Intensive Care.

I haven't got a recipe as such, primrose, but a good old-fashioned standby for the hands is to put a small puddle of olive oil and a pinch of sugar in your palm and then rub this all over your hands as if you are washing them. Then rinse off well and dry. My OH as very dry hands, especially in winter, and uses this method whenever he is reminded! It makes his hands lovely and soft.

My MIL used to mix marigold petals with vaseline. Wrong time of year though.

I just buy an inexpensive tube of pure lanolin from Boots it works wonders on hands and feet. X

The moment my hands and lips feel dry and my feet cold, I know winter is here. I've tried Jazz's recipe of olive oil and sugar and I must say my hands feel very good. Soft and not so dry and I'm going to give it a go everyday. I wonder if one could use on one's lips too? I cannot see why? xx
