...the day gone, I no sooner got showered and dress and now it is dark and I want to get my jimmy-jams on!

I did some housework this morning as I had no clients today and then I made spicy clove ball (which took and hour and a half) thought I would make these for Christmas. Next I knew it was lunch time. Walked the dog and collected some pine cones for another decoration, came back made a cuppa, done my shoping list for tomorrow and now it has just gone 5pm.

Has everyone elses day gone as quick as mine.

supper is over, kitchen is tidy, sister has gone to have a bath, read and then bed. I've got my jimmy-jams on as well. The day has gone in a flash with us visiting a craft market this morning, had tea in the little restaurant, some shopping had to be done. See to it that boys do revision for exams (they're writing their English Grammar paper tomorrow). One blink and the day has gone.

What a busy day you've had Sheddie! I met an old school friend for shopping and lunch, dashed back to school, made tea, took son back to school for cinema club, had bath, got jammies on and now I've got to do hubbies vat return.

am i the only one fully dressed at 8.45p.m.just got in from youth club.great night.one of the girls was being unkind to another.i asked her quietly why and explained to be unkind is a kind of bullying.she then told me she gets picked on every day because of her nose.it is a very different nose.i had a chat with her pointing out her good points and the fact she had a lovely friend who stands by her .that being picked on is awful but so is picking on others.she came upto me before she went home and gave me a big hug. they are lovely kids all of them.i feel so privaliged to be able to help them .

I'm still dressed eleanor, but only because I was was at the sports centre til 6pm and I've got my joggers on, which are next only to PJ's. When I worked 5 full days the other week, I joked that I only wore my uniform and my PJ's, but it was true.

Perhaps it's an age thing Oola. When I was younger I wouldn't have dreamt of changing into my nightwear at 6pm, but now comfort has taken over.

Nothing stops me getting in my jimjams, it's just that I can't seem to get into bed and fall asleep before the early hours of the morning, however much I put myself in a routine. Blargh!

We are always up til midnight, no matter what we do, we must just be owls. We always say we should go to bed earlier and get up earlier but it doesn't work.

I also like to be in bed by 11 p.m.at the latest but when I've had a busy day and my son doesn't get home for the main meal until 8 p.m., it's often way after 9 p.m. before we've eaten and cleared up and then there's maybe something to mend or knitting to do (didn't manage that, or spinning, yesterday, the day was too short) or my daughter calls and suddenly it's getting on for midnight. So I aim for 11 but often just don't make it - and I stay in my daytime clothes until bedtime. What I need are 36 hour days.

Hi Redstart, once you've found 36 hour days, will you please tell me where? I would also like some of those! Thanks!!! ;)

I try to be in bed at about 10, then read my English mag or a lovely book. But as things go, it's not always possible - like now for instance! It's 10.15 pm and I'm still talking, talking........ and new Period Living is patiently waiting to be paged through, with heaps of ooohings and aaahings! Now what will I do, read or talk, talk or read. The choices that one must make in life!!!!!!!!!!!!

Another brilliant idea perhaps to invent, another poem to write, another deal to do. I'm the lady who buys old junk and sells valuable antiques. I used to go to London's Brick Lane antiques market at 4am when I was younger of course, I used to buy by torchlight! X
