Does anyone have any books written by Kathleen Dayus . I read The Girl From Hockley and loved it from start to finish . I have since been searching for her other books . If you happen to see any in your charity shops will you please pick up for me I will pay cost and postage . thank you .

I don't believe it my son has found the books I am looking for and at just 1p each what a bargain eh x

What luck dinger. 1p is unbelievable, books are 50p even in a charity shop. I have never heard of her. What sort of stories does she write?

I have only read one called The Girl From Hockley it is a true account of her life and was absolutely brilliant I loved it . I think her others are all true as well so am eager to read them . I loaned this book to a friend and she said it was the best she had ever read. It said at the end of the book she was now in her nineties but don't know how long ago that was now and as my daughter has borrowed it I can't look at the moment.
