No, I'm not going to preach and tell you to take them to Tesco or where-ever to recycle, I'd like to know if you have a more imaginative way to recycle them that saves you money at the same time.
For instance, this year I plan to cut out any suitable images to recycle into my Christmas cards for next year. This will also help me use up the box of reuseable envelopes saved over the year.
Cut out shapes with a decorative edge to make tags (sure we've all done this) and use the curly ribbon saved from parcels to tie them on with.
Stick images onto paper bags to make refurbished gift bags.
Card patchwork covered boxes for gift giving.
When I'm done whatever isn't used can then go into the curbside recycling bag, but only when I've maximised my recycling!
