:)Morning all! What aches and pains have you got today? My OH has his hip and leg hurting and indegestion, my friend rang and has her shoulders, knees and feet hurting, I have arthiritus in my knees that get stiff and painful but walk jess daily to keep them going.Just wondered what you have today? Have a good moan and lets know what's bothering you?Do you think Joan Collins has any aches and pains below that glamorous exterior?I'm a bit more Joan Rivers and just try to keep laughing!:D

I'm OK now, sheddie, but you should see me when I've just got out of bed, hobbling about like an old lady! I, too have arthritis in one knee and am trying to ignore familiar signs in the other, but I'm not too bad once I get going. I try not to let it stop me doing anything. It's just part of getting older I think - everything starts to creak.

I try not to moan about it or anything else for that matter. No-one (apart from dear people like you) really wants to hear it, do they? They ask how you are but if you really start their eyes start to glaze over!!!

I'm a great Joan Collins fan. She's one of the "stick on the slap and carry on regardless" brigade and I really admire that.

Hi sheddie, sorry that you and OH are both suffering,it is not nice having arthritis is it;I guess I am the lucky one here since ----touch wood----- I don't have any problems with it or any other disabling complaint, but my OH is the one who suffers and sounds a bit like yours but without the indigestion! Your poor knees sound to be a problem for you but what you are doing walking Jess etc is just the thing to keep everything moving and so long as you don't overdo it,your mobility shouldn't suffer.Perhaps that is why you were meant to have little Jess so that giving her a loving home and daily exercise would in turn help your problems;maybe a strange way of looking at it but animals are so understanding and comforting aren't they and she sounds such a sweetie.
The only thing I can moan about was yesterday's excrusiating tooth ache but I managed to get an emergency appointment with our dentist and hopefully it has been sorted,so if I'm allowed a moan in retrospect then that was it!

Hi Sheds, sorry to hear about you and your hubby's problems - I honestly hope that it will feel better through the course of the day.

Well, with your invitation to moan, then lets! My foot hurts again today, I've got a splitting headache (all the talk with sister and boys' exams). And I'm really tired

Hope hubby has got better as the day has gone on. My lower back is still playing up a bit, but not as bad as it was a few months ago. Jack saw a cat on Saturday and of course he was on his lead and I did not see that cat so that meant he pulled my back out again....hey ho....

I'm about 102 when I get out of bed- hobbling downstairs to make the tea if husband hasn't beaten me to it.I get younger as the day progresses, must say I do wonder about the day when I stay at 100+.

I've got sore feet because I've been standing all day at work, and neuralgia pains in my head and teeth, left over from a cold I had about 3 weeks ago, so I've taken a painkiller. I'm looking forward to a day off tomorrow then I can get to the gym, the stretching excercises really help to keep the body flexible.

Well, Sheddie, no wonder you are all aches and pains today. Just look at what you were up to on our Firework night!!! You had MORE than one ride on that bumpy tractor, and before we lit the bonfire, you were climbing all over the wood to set up the guy. Not to mention the antics you got up to with Whiskers!!!. Then to top it all I saw both you and Crocus sitting on the damp grass sharing a bottle of Brandy. I hope you will be feeling much better tomorrow. Lots of love. xxx

Hi all, I don't have any major creaks and snaps, but lots of grunts. Is it a sign of ageing when you can't sit down or stand up without letting out an involuntary sigh or grunt?

Yes plenty of aches & usually the newest one which hurts the most, makes me forget the old ones (just for a while).
