Strange start to the day. We were woken up around 5 to some very odd noises coming from the loft. Hubbie went to investigate but there was nothing there so got back in bed and off they went again......This went on a few times and we can only guess that the squirrel which has been loitering with intent by our back door has made is way up the scaffolding and taken up squatters rights!!!!
At sixish son started to be ill so I have a poorly little boy at home today and then our cat strolled in reeking of rosemary, obviously shes been sleeping in our rosemary bush but is now very strangely scented.
All this before 8 o clock - wonder what the rest of the day has in store?:confused:

Well my phone started ringing at 8pm, I have one friend who said "I have to catch you at this time because I can never get you", another in her 70's who has fallen madly in love and is talking of marrying a chap in his 30's, my daughter talking of writing a book and dinger talking about fairies. OH looks cross, jess given up and gone back to bed and I am going putting christmas lights up at Country Matters and I feel tired out before I start. Not to mention the thread Bonfire Extravaganzer!!!

Country Matters is a village hall in a village which 3 women got together and revived it by filling it with stalls, I have one there in the entrance hall, which I have decorated for Christmas today. The Lavender Tearooms is in half of it.If you're in the Bedfordshire area it's not to be missed. It's open Thurs. Fri. Sat and Sun.

Son's tucked up in bed now, fast asleep. Hoping that the squirrel doesn't come back tonight - I'm looking forward to a good nights sleep.
sheddie could you email me the village location?

Morning, there were no sweet dreams in our household last night. At 2.30 ish our friend upstairs started its nocternal activities, right above our bed, exactly where all our new wiring runs. Looks like the loft floor will have to come up today (its only been down a week!) Hubbie is not a happy man this morning.

Hi Eleanor2 and Katelb,
Not sure what it is yet - I can cope with squirrels and mice, hope its not a rat <<shudders>>. My son is fit and well this morning, very excited as we're having a bonfire party tonight and both sets of grandparents are coming, I'm so glad he's better for it. x
Ahhh...good to hear your son is better. I ended up at my mum's last night at half past 2 calling an ambulance and then following to the A&E. Got home at 5am...safe to say I'm pretty knackered! Mum is ok though. I've started the day off with a big headache...blehh!
