Making my brack to-day. Here's the recipe.
EASY MOIST TEA BRACK
3/4 pint cold tea, 1 oz chopped walnuts
7 oz Brown Sugar, 10 oz Self Raising Flour
12 oz mixed fruit. 1 egg.
Soak fruit with sugar in cold tea overnight. Beat egg. Stir the flour, egg, and nuts into the fruit mixture. Wrap ring in greaseproof paper, and add. Line 2 lb loaf tin, and cook at 170c for 1 ¾ hr. Cool on rack. Not a traditional Barm Brack, but nicer as it is moist. TIGGYWINKLE
