Do you believe in this, have you used it, and if you did, did it help in any way?
I've just seen an advertisement on the telly of a "new" cream which supposedly will make cellulite disappear, but the joke of the advertisement is actually the models who were used. They are as thin and "perfect" looking as you can get - under weight for one, and of course hand picked for the advertisement.
They definitely won't choose me to do this advert for them!!!:o:D

Crocus, there are many of these creams on the market now and to be honest i dont see how they can work. how can cellulite dissapear by rubbing a bit of cream on? i think the only way to get rid of this is by exercise and maybe massage to break down the cells. I could be wrong.

I also have problems believing it Bonnie. As you say there are many of these creams on the market, and they still are coming on the market thick and fast it seems. What always makes me so cross is that these tall, etremely thin models with not the dot on the "i" of cellulite anywhere to be seen on their bodies, are used to advertise these creams. Who on earth are they fooling? Not me, for one! xx

I think that the only way that they might work is due to the massage needed to rub them in. When I was a teenager a friend and I bought an expensive bottle of what was known as "Ballet Lotion" to get rid of our (non existent!) cellulite. It was a red lotion that you put in the bath and the steam was supposed to help it to be absorbed. However, all that it did was create a red hue on our lower bodies that might have, from a distance, looked like it reduced cellulite. We believed its claims at the time and I think that the modern versions are probably just as ineffective. I could be wrong though.

I also wonder about such creams, however as Charles Revson of Revlon once siad "I don't sell cosmetics, I sell Hope" I ordered a miracle cream to remove age spots on my left hand. It should arrive soon from U.S. and I will let you know if it works. I also heard that preparation H for hemorrhoids is great for wrinkles. Wouldn't fancy putting that on my face.! I also read that if you put castor oil on your hands every night for a month, and wear cotton gloves that age spots will disappear. Bought the cotton gloves from Avon, so if my miracle cream doesn't work, I'll give that a bash. I now get the odd one from the sun, and I don't like them. I would imagine that a good detox, good diet, and massage would be best for cellulite.

I read somewhere that models often use hemorrhoid cream on their faces to tighten the skin, tiggywinkle! Also baby teething gel to ease eyebrow plucking. One thing that I do know works is rubbing the inside of a broad bean pod on a wart. I did this years ago for one on my finger and it disappeared never to return. Good luck with the age spots cream.

I use a Norwegian formula anti-ageing hand cream and are quite satisfied with it.
The broad bean pod is quite an interesting tip Jazz, I'll remember it. Thanks! xx

I think I read that vinegar helps age spots on hands. I will give it a try and let you know.
