We were watching a programme on the Travel Channel "How To Holiday Greener" and this episode was about Scotland, Ben Nevis and also a very small community in Knoydart.

Also Britian's most remote Pub is here, The Forge Inn. It's only accessible by an 18 mile hike across hills and moors or by a 7 mile sea crossing.

never been there or heard of it crocus.sounds a very arduous trip to the pub.

Yes, I've seen it on TV, perhaps that coast programme. Don't fancy it much myself, prefer somewhere with better access.

Arduous trip I agree, but I think that's why it is such a special place? Because one has to go to bit of trouble to get there. I think it would be very nice to go there. x
