I have read in a couple of places that some of you (myself included) are having a variety of problems posting, often resulting in 'lost' posts, or long typing efforts dissappearing repeatedly. Here is a small suggestion that might help some of you.

If I think I will be doing a lot of typing to my reply, I do my typing in Word! This way, you can save the document in MS Word (or whatever you use). When you are done, open up a 'reply to post' box then just simply copy and paste into the open box. I do prefer to do this in advanced mode, but if anything goes wrong you have a copy of the post so you can repeat the proceedure when your computer has finished its tantrum!

Hope this helps.:)

Hi RP, it's what Mr C always says, to first do my typing in Word, then copy it to the forum. Especially when it's long postings and one chop and changes the whole time. x

Good idea Rustic Pumpkin, as I have lost 2 postings recently. Must do this in the future. Thanks for the tip. TIGGYWINKLE

I've been experiencing the site to be very slow this afternoon. Do you experience this?

Often, Crocus, but not today. Mind I've not been here much today. Chiropractor.

It's better now, perhaps the network was just very busy. Off topic, I know, but how did it go? Hope you're not in any pain? xx

Not at the moment. Tomorrow, well, as one Scarlett O'Hara says, tomorrow is another day! I will probably ache like crazy and I cannot take a bath for two days as it might relax the muscles and undo the 'expensive' work! Thanks for asking!
