Has anyone got this book

I was told by a friend she thinks I would like to read a book called "The Knitting Circle " but I can't remember who wrote it . Has anyone read it or has it and could tell me who the author is please.

I haven't read it, Dinger, but I know several who have. Apparently it is very, very sad, touching and quite uplifting. Large box of Kleenex is apparently the order of the day with this one.

Or do you mean the Friday night knitting club by Kate Jacobs? It is the autumn read on Purple coo this year and I have just read it. It#s easy reading but very good I think. Maybe because I can relate to so many characters in it.
