I love Irish pipe music. Find it emotional and relaxing.

Music to relax to has to be classical (piano/violin/harp) or blues (sax), non vocal
Inspirational music has to be similar with some vocal (opera/blues) and ye olde worldy of Sinatra and Glen Miller. I don't know what it is about GM but I just want to get up and dance to his music.
Rave-on time, then pretty much anything goes from heavy rock to laid-back jazz.

I have a few CDs in the car that I listen to a lot: Il Divo - I try and sing along, classic Italian. I can only pick out a few words, needless to say i only sing when I'm alone :). Enya, Celtic Woman, Michael Buble and a few old tapes: Earth Wind and Fire, Fleetwood Mac, Eagles, Simply Red, Michael Bolton, Kenny G to name a few, and I recently discovered an old Christopher Cross tape. I've played it a lot lately. I used to play it all the time when my hubby and I were dating and he'd moved back to US and I was in England. 'Fly like the Wind'. It seemed to fit him perfectly. Oh my, where'd the time go? Right now I'm about to start my Christmas CDs in the house - I usually start playing them in October
