I want to thank all my friends on Rural Muse for the support you have all given me. I appreciate it more than words can say . Luckily someone unknown to me directed the right person to the right place at the right time who kindly offered me good advice and asked my permission to look at everything that had been questioned on c l forum which I was more than happy to do . A special thank you to Oola and others who e-mailed me and sent nice encouraging messages when I felt at my lowest and as always my sister Sheddy who never fails me .Love and thanks Dinger x x

Nothing like a good old sing song is there?

Crocus

Nothing at all. I remember back when I joined a choir, I could never wait for our performances - it's kind of exhillarating (Spelling!). Open up different parts of the brain and voice.

Well, at least we are being referred to as the flowery ones, and I for one prefer that as a sideways insult than perhaps might otherwise have been used to describe the supporters of RM.

Chin up Dinger, and, Crocus keep them poems going. How about a RM anthology of poetry and Fairy whispers.

I play the piano - loudly and badly as I'm self taught. Rich bought me an electric Yahama piano about three years ago, I love it so much. Bet the neighbours don't though, especially as I have my vocal mic hooked up to the amp next to it muhahahaha.

louder louDER LOUDER!!!!

What are we all waiting for? get you instruments sorted and we will start practising for the Rural Muse Musical Society's annual christmas concert, should be good. How about old whiskers' barn sheddie,do you think we could hire it for the evening?

Oola

Geesh, the last time I did anything Christmas and musical was YEARS ago. I was a teenager in year 9 at school I think, and stood outside our local Tesco one evening singing Christmas carols and collecting money for charity.

Before that it was all the Choir Christmas concerts at school. In lower school, aged 8, I was assigned the post of Star of Bethlehem and had to sing a slightly different version of 'Twinkle Twinkle Little Star'. I loved it, but I didn't love having to stand there with my arms out horizontally for the duration of the play!!!!! Now that's stamina for you!

Crocus
30-10-2007, 12:30 PM
Somebody perhaps have violin, a clarinet, drums maybe?

Oola
30-10-2007, 12:32 PM
I used to have a drum kit until a year ago. Sorry!

Katelb
30-10-2007, 12:39 PM
you won't need todisplay quite so much stamina for this concert Oola,on reflection ,perhaps it should be entitled the Rural Muse Variety show!!
