had email from Rosa. She's having problems posting.
Everyone else OK ?
This is the umpteenth attempt at posting. Have you disfellowshipped me Oola? Only joking!
This is a message for Crocus:
I just wanted to say, for the record, that I don't like the sound of Jerry Springer the Opera. I can understand why it would be offensive to devout Christians - albeit I'm only making this assumption from the reviews. In any case, I dislike musical theatre. Also I didn't find the The Life of Brian particularly funny. So if the Jerry Springer production shares a similar style of humour to that of Monty Python, I'm afraid it would leave me cold.
Maybe I'm suffering from osteoporosis of the funny bone or something.
Sorry
I really don't know why it does this sometimes. I have this problem sometimes too, no matter what I do or how many times I log on it won't send my message. Did you try submitting your message by clicking on Go Advance and then post?

I sometimes have to click on Go Advance to post. Happened yesterday as well. I get quite nervous when this starts to happen because in the past it won't be long before "Gateway Timeout" appears or "This page cannot be displayed". xx
I didn't know about Go Advance. Will try that next time the system goes on the blink. I'm sending this post in the normal way.

Hi Rosa, I didn't see this show, so don't know what's it about. From what you've said and explained to me, it won't be something I would at all like. x

I have had this problem of not posting to. I cut and paste the message on to go advanced and it usually works. The first time I left the original message on quick reply and they both worked so had two replies. I still think it is a brilliant site Oola even with a few hicups. It fascinates me all the differnt things the site can do.

The cut and paste tip is useful thanks Dragonfly.
I lost my reply to the UK thread from KD earlier. Will try again
Must not spend too much time here today as piles of ironing to do.
Really enjoyed yesterday on here, some threads realyy moved along at a fair pace. Good fun.

Hi Sandy, yes I agree with you. Sometimes it's good to soldier on with a serious topic, to know how others feel, and to perhaps get something off a chest. xx

Just had trouble posting on another thread. Tried to use Go Advanced button as Oola recommended but got 'Internal Server Error' message.
Hmmm
Crocus had this problem and it was fixed with a proxy server. Is everybody else having this problem? If so it'll be a problem on the server that RM is on.

Only certain threads Oola. Have been out, will try again now.
Not very high tec, not sure what a Proxy Server is.
Just wondered, I've been having problems with my Internet Banking and just spent 15 mins on the phone to them changing my browser settings - still won't work! They said it's just a corrupted file in Firefox, so I was wondering what browsers people that have had trouble posting have? Wonder if it could be connected. I've been advised to re-install my Firefox browser, they said that should sort the problem.
It's been like this for 2-3 weeks, some sites work, some don't. I thought it could be rain - it certainly has an effect on the connection - but it was the way it was on certain sites that bothered me. So perhaps this is a bug with Mozilla Firefox. Let me know.

Mine's Internet Explorer [that's the browser isn't it]. Have had no problems this week.

Hi Oola,as you know I have always had trouble with the PM because if I click on 'reply' and write a reply and send it ,it flashes up' there is no one of that username ,error' and I'm never sure if it has sent or not. This time I tried doing a new message rather than click on reply, and it still said the same thing.Am I doing something wrong?
Hmmm
Not sure kate. Had a look on your user account and all seems normal, your settings allow for PMs. I'll try and see if Rich knows what could be going on.

Is anybody else finding the site especially slow tonight? Maybe it's my computer or connection, but I feel the need to wind up that big rubber band a bit tighter!
