Red Sky

I am always up while it is still dark but as the light broke through this morning the sky was the most lovely red .Does this mean we are in for bad frosts tonight .As the saying goes red sky in the morning shepherds warning .

I don't know but I saw that red sky this morning too and wondered exactly the same thing!

According to the lunchtime forecast,it seems quite likely that we shall have some frost tonight and following that will be a lovely day tomorrow....so they say!

Hi, by tomorrow morning you'll know whether red skies means bad frosts! Let us know, will you? It will be interesting to know. My granny used to say red skies meant war!! That scared me so much that I was in quite a bad state when we did have a red sky! Of course war didn't happen as a result of red skies! But when you are a little girl, such things can really scare you!!

It certainly did mean frost .My husband was scraping ice at 6.00 this morning
