Just a question Oola and maybe for members to comment on.

Hapybride appears to have joined in order to gain people to answer a survey. While the site does appear to authentic - is this in the spirit of Rural Muse and are we in danger of opening it up for people to use for commercial and semi-commercial [or in this case apparently academic] use ?

yes I share your concern. I'm not particularly happy about it, but at the moment it appears authentic as a survey. If the member doesn't continue to post then I will remove the membership and the post.

We've had a couple of other attempts at spam and using the forum for people's own devices, and it's not in the spirit of the forum.

I often look to see who's "on line" (so's I don't feel lonely) and I am wondering who is "Yahoo Slurp Spider"? and" Google spider " or whatever?? Can somebody enlighten me please?
