Deo Stains

Has anybody any tips on how to get rid of yucky deodorant/sweat stains from t/shirts underarms? I have tried doing a soak first then a high temp wash but to no avail. Any help would be welcome.

My hairdresser told me spraying stains with hairspray while dry and then washing removes stains . I have tried it on other stains and it really does work .Another thing you can try is spraying with vodka but a bit expensive to use on a stain I think but apparently it is done with Madonna's clothes after coming off stage to get rid of those marks.Worth a try anyway.

I suppose the vodka treatment is like using meths, though I think it might be better to try soaking in Vanish first, and by the time you've drunk the vodka, the stains might have loosened enough to wash out?
