I'm not keen on mashed potatoes or suet puddings but come that autumn chill I suddenly crave shepherds pie and jam roly poly! Soul food indeed!

I love crisp sunny Autumn days too - especially if I can come home to lovely soup with a crusty roll and a great magazine or book.

Me too, although any time outside in any weather I'm sure is good for the soul one way or another. Sometimes it's good to get out there on wet windy days to blow the cobwebs away! Soup's good anytime though.

Spring here and today is beautiful. Blue skies and sunshine with the birds all singing. Swallows have young in their nest and the first roses are blooming as are the poppies. The asparagus bed has exploded with dozens of spears now visible. Nature is wonderful whatever the season.

leaves turning golden in the New forest. Lovely walk today in the sunshine. Ponies all around, and chestnuts to eat in the farmshop today Hippeeh!!!

nothing like a bowl of hot creamy porridge with a bit of honey on top.on cold frosty mornings.

Spring here today as well. I took my mum and dad for a drive through the countryside. Beautiful day, blue skies, blossoms, fresh green leaves on the trees, green, green fields and warm strong gusty winds.

The smell of open fires as the day draws to close and lights are starting to appear in the windows as everyone returns home!
