Hi Oola, I have checked the "Invisibility" box on the options screen, but when I look on the "front page" I am still listed under "currently active users" but with and asterix.
Is this correct? Can others see?
Thanks.

Hi Peter, nice to hear from you. You don't seem to be listed 'members online' but perhaps you are the guest listed? along with the google spider! Fran.

I see your message Peter. What's the 'invisibility' thing? Is it like a cloak and if so, where can I get one? :)
I have a feeling that in the admin area I haven't enabled users to use the invisibility mode, possibly why you appear with an asterix next to your name.
I'll look into it though.
I guess it is working if others can't see you when you're online Peter - I think maybe only you and I can see your name with the asterisk. It's difficult for me because as admin, I am the all-seeing-eye! If you're next online perhaps you can post and ask if people see you listed, and then if they don't we know it's not a control panel issue for me!

Thanks Oola,
but I have "unchecked" the box so all can see what I am up to.
It seems fairer that I am not perceived skulking around with a cloak and dagger.

Hi where on earth do all of you see what you see? "Invisibility boxes and members on line"?

Hi Crocus, if you go into 'quick links' top right, and at the bottom of the list is 'who's on line'
Oooo you are just trying to confuse me arent you?!
Seriously, I thought Rural Muse was a forum and the individual sections were 'threads'. Can someone please explain....? Sorry I'm new to this.
