I remember my grand-mother knitting socks, I wish now that I took more notice on how she made them as I would love to learn how to knit socks as I wear so many of them in the winter.

Thanks for the sock pattern link Keepers, will give them a go later in the year as I have never knitted them before. I remember my mum used to turn the heel of socks for most of the women in the village when I was a child, so I feel I should manage the technique
