Please does anyone have a good scone recipe that they would share. Tried to make scones yesterday using a Delia recipe I found online using buttermilk.
The results made rather tasty sugar cookies, flat as a pancake but no way resembling a scone. I did wonder if my SR flour had gone flat, but I tried to make them a while ago with a recipe that used cream, these turned out like the old rock cakes we had to make in Domestic Science. Does anyone know where I'm going wrong and please share a 'fool'proof recipe.
