This is my recipe for home made icecream oola. I hope you like it.
VANILLA
500 ml whipping cream
50 ml full cream milk
125g caster sugar
2 teaspoons (10ml) vanilla extract
Blend ingredients together with whisk (the more you whip the lighter it will be)
Put into a plastic container with lid but don’t fill more than 2/3rds full.
Freeze for approx 1 hour then take out and stir with spoon.
Repeat above then leave for about 8 hours (depends how cold your freezer is).
The recommended freezer temperature is 25° F
VARIATIONS
This is a basic vanilla ice cream recipe which is delicious just as it comes, but why not add chocolate chips, mini marshmallows, crumbled chocolate, digestive biscuits, a little rum and a handful of raisins.
This was the recipe I followed the first time. I found it to sweet so put in less sugar and more cream. I don’t think you need to be so specific with the ingredients.
