Hi everyone, thought i'd let you have the latest on my weddibg arrangements.
I,m having my wedding cake made by the Farmers Wife at my local farm, she makes the most lovely cakes you can imagine so i've asked her to make my cake!
The village Pub where we are having the reception has his hands tied with regards to food,(He has to use who ever the Brewery say so) But i was going to make sure i got some farm produce in somewhere what ever i did! So im in charge of providing deserts etc So i 'll be off to the farm again im sure!

Ooh sounds like a very nice cake! We got married in Italy last summer and had a fab traditional Italian cake with sparklers and another cake when we came home!

It all sounds lovely, especially the cake. Best of luck with all the arrangments, are you still going with the 30's theme?

Yes all the way, i have found a picture of a lady who has a very typical 30's hair style (a bob with the wave running through it!) Im going to ask my hairdresser if she can do it for me.

Well best of luck for the 22nd, I will be thinking of you. I don't imagine you really need pudding at a wedding, especially with a lovely cake, although you could take a look at my Tiramisu recipe in the food section. That could be made in a large quantity and is best made a few days ahead. Too much pudding and you will need Dinger's silk bloomers though.

Hi Ma Larkin,
Is this to be a traditional white wedding or glorious coloured princess for the day look. We attended a wedding quite recent where the bride wore a heavenly peacock blue satin dress her bridesmaids in rust-coloured satin with chiffon overskirts. I thought satin went out of fashion years ago but there you have it, and the bride looked exquisite the principal men wore matching rust waistcoats except the groom in peacock finery.
Anyhow, good luck with everything. Hope it's beautiful weather for the big day.
