I have some time to kill I thought I had an appointment to see my osteopath for 9.30 and I have just got a call to say I have missed my appointment for 9am, blast I wrote it down wrong thankfully she understood and I did not have to pay for a missed appointment and now have it booked in for Thursday.
My first client of the day is not until 10.30 and she has just text to say that she will have to bring her grandson this should be interesting!
The weather here this morning is wet and dull and I feel as if I could light my fire and just curl up today. Although my other client is not until 5pm I thought I would make my pumkin soup and then walk the dog, hopefully by then it will stop raining!
What is like were you all are and what are your plans for today? :)

Nasty drizzle and not so warm. Have cleaned and laid new fire in woodburner, might light it tonight. Trying to design a Christmas card and sorting out all my sewing, that will keep me occupied.

Cold and rainy here with some light snow and heavy hail. Wood fire has been going all day and the house is lovely and cosy. It is now 9.30pm. For dinner we had chilli which was left over from tacos the other night; so a lazy day. I am reading one of the Wire in the Blood novels; also made a start on my packing.

gentle exercise to music for seniors. i go there at 2 today and what a laugh these seniors are.a few of us younger ones gate crash.
Wet wet wet here. Not feeling too grand so having a quiet day, think I will do a bit of reading later. Hens all sad in their run not wanting to free range in the rain!

its a bit overcast here but not too chilly, walked to school with my son this morning and we had great fun kicking through piles of autumn leaves. I really should do some housework this afternoon, i just need to get myself motivated!
mrsj mine weren't too impressed with the rain either - so I opened up the greenhouse and they decided it was prime time to all have a dust bath. The makeshift 'camp' I had made them was a bit leaky, I think they much prefer the warm, light and shelter of my greenhouse, plus part of it is directly on soil - great for bathing and scratching!!!!

Working all day at the Uni, then this evening to a meeting with the women's group. There are a few arguments going on in the group so it might be quite explosive tonight... Usually I stay on a bit afterwards for a drink and chat with a couple of friends from the group, but I am not sure if that is on the cards tonight if the women's group goes badly -we might just run for cover!
Back home tonight I am on my own with the dog, so I made a shepherds pie yesterday evening to cook tonight. My treat with him, poor old thing.

Hi, our first hot day of summer has arrived - 30 deg. C! Much to hot for me. Light breeze with just a few clouds. Also did a mountain of ironing today. We were of line most of the day - ISP was down ( for 7 hours). It got me all very frustrated, but a lot of chores were done!

Vile day here in West Devon & we had to drive to Cornwall for a meeting in thick fog. Will certainly light the fire this evening!
Flippin' 'eck, bloody nora it's TIPPING it down here now! Got to venture out and shut the hens in....and put out bird food for the morning. Wellies, ski jacket, umbrella and torch at the ready. This is more like the autumnal weather I'm used to....
I would light the fire too but we have a bundle of kindling and not a lot else....
