Is it just me who gets confused by the time shown on Rural Muse? When I look at the index of forums, it sometimes says that there was a message posted at X time, but when I go to the thread, it isn't there.
And, what prompted me to write this was that my welcome message at the top right said I last visited today at 7.15am.I can assure you that I was elsewhere at 7.15am! But then, when I opened this 'new thread' box, it said I last visited at 1.15pm. which is probably about right, as it is now 1500, proving I'm wasting time browsing on my laptop rather than working.
Anyway, I'm sure it's not really an issue about the time thing, but a bit puzzling.

Hmmm...strange that. I can't see why it would do that, other than you lingered on the forum server and didn't timeout until then. Which is highly unlikely!

Let me know if it happens again :)

Funny, I just noticed that the time shown on the post I made earler on 'Paul's home' thread couldn't have been that time as i was driving to a hospital appt. (allowing for 5 hr. UK/US time difference). I also happened to notice the number of posts is stuck at 544 in all the posts recently. The number read higher than that a while ago - not counting, curious are we stuck in a time warp?

It may be a server option. I'll get the 'technical team' to look into it.

Also, it may be that you've just got the default timezone setting on in your account (GMT/BST). If you're overseas you can change this by going to:

My Control Panel (top nav bar) > Edit Options (Right Menu) > Scroll down to Time & Date Options and adjust the Time Zone setting accordingly.
