I thought I could share my day with you that I had on saturday at my daughter's blessing, I hope you do not mind me sharing it with you.

On Friday I woke up with a runny nose and a cold had developed so I was straight down to Boots to get some day nurse and night nurse, as Natalie and I were going to arrange the flowers at the venue. So after dosing myself up we went to the hotel and got things organsise. We went for a Autumnal theme, we had dried hops, berries from the fields, gords and a beautiful display of autumnal coloured flowers, it looked really lovely as the hotel is over 800 years old, so after a long day my daughter I went back to her house for fish and chips....yummy had'nt had those for a while!

Saturday morning I over slept must of been the night nurse I took! Thank goodness my mother telephoned me. So quickly dashed to the hairdressers came back Ken arrived to changed and off we went. the weather was not very kind to start with as it had started to drizzle quite hard. When we arrived at the hotel I went up to see Lara to make sure she had everything she wanted, she was looking beautiful (bais mother) Lara could be wearing a black bin bag abnd still look stunning! So I went down stairs the guest were arriving and they all walked over to the chapel that is in the grounds of the hotel, it was such a sweet chapel it is steeped in history. so by the time Lara arrived the drizzle had stopped and when we came out for the photo's it was all fine and then the reception the sun shone. I must add when Lara came out of the chapel she surprised me with some music that she had chosen which was my late husband favioute so there were a few tears there! So everyone enjoyed the reception they ate well, the food was good, they drank very well and all went home happy (apart from one or two grumpy men who could not watch the rugby!!!)

Yesterday I was pooped and ended with a migraine it must of been all the tension and stress from Saturday and as soon as I relaxed it all came out. So it was early to bed.

Now it is back to normal and I am looking forward to being able to add more to this site and I shall look forward to the winter and my log fires and some good books. Although I am off to Spain first next week...just to get the last bit of sunshine!!

Once again hope you do not mind me sharing this with you all :D
