Oola, I hope work if going well for you. I know you're busy, but just wondered about the Photobucket site you mentioned a few days ago. Do you ahve to have all your pictures out there on the www or can you keep them in private folders/albums too?.
not sure about this one keepersdaughter. I will have to have a look on Google and find out.

Thanks for your reply Oola. I checked the site and had already googled. maybe I wasn't looking in the right place, but couldn't find it the answer. I've having problems getting to load pictures in the programme I usually use, didn't used to have any difficulty so not sure why now. Don't know difference between jpeg and jpg, etc. sometimes it works, sometimes not. Hope your work is going well. I checked out the site where you had your article published, really interesting. Would love to read more of your articles. Love your photo with your hen.
Thanks KD :)
There is no diff between jpeg and jpg, jpg is just a lazier way of writing it and the way it's written down when used as a file extension (blah.jpg). Like .bmp is an abbreviation of bitmap etc...
Are you using Picasa? I used it once and hated it, I have to say!!!! I much prefer using Photoshop to edit pics, but as far as I can tell, Photobucket is good for the basic stuff like cropping and resizing pics.
I'll have a look later for you, I'm pretty sure there are ways to set albums to private. It would be silly if you couldn't!
Found this KD:
Can I make one of my sub albums private?
Yes. You can now make some sub albums public while keeping others private. A guest password can still be added for the entire account OR for each private sub album within the main album. The main account must be set to Public to individually change the status of a sub album. Any album nested within the top level sub albums will inherit the public or private status of the top level sub album.
Please see the Public/Private Album Settings (http://tutorials.photobucket.com/tutorial_183.html) tutorial and the Account - Sub Albums (http://photobucket.com/faq?catID=37) section of this FAQ for further information.

Thankyou so much for all that Oola. Yes, I've been using Picasa. So I'll do a bit more scouting around Photobucket and Photoshop. Thanks for letting us know about it.

Hi bonnie
I got a message saying you tried to send me a message, so I've pretty much emptied my Inbox so I receive messages again now :) Sorry about that!
