View Full Version : Savon d'Alep soap
I wonder if anyone else swears by this soap? It is about the purest soap available containing only olive and bay tree oil. It has been hand made in Alep in Syria for many centuries. It is gentle enough to use as a shampoo as well. My Daughter has excema. It does help her a great deal.
I do wonder if it would help post-op patients as well. Worth a try anyhow.

Do you think it would help psoriasis as my husband suffers with it.

I've never hear of this soap Rose. I do love good quality soap, it's hard to find much here other than the mass produced package soap, often with deodorant added. It's very harsh and drying. I will keep a look out for it if we go to a city some time.
If you google this name you will find out all about this soap. Yes Dinger it is recommended for psoriasis as well.
It has helped my daughter a lot. Don't expect it to smell pretty just wholesome. More people should know about it as it is an ancient cure for skin problems.
I believe it can be got by mail order. I buy it in our local supermarkets and take it to my girl.
