Do you have an item of furniture in your house that is unusual in any way? We have a chair that is known as The Betsy. It is a scabby, slightly upholstered in a nasty colour, old bentwood chair that is falling apart, but boy is it comfortable to sit in when working on the computer. This chair was left in the house when we bought it, by Betsy the previous owner - hence the name. We should really get rid of it, but each time I sit in it all thoughts of this nature fade away.

I have a very unusual box that I would like to know more about, I have never seen anything like it and use it for my sewing things. My dad was given it by another man he knew who was about 85yrs then and that was years ago and dad gave it to me. I really will have to take a picture of it in case anyone can identify it. X

We have an easy chair which you can unfold into a bed. The back is supported by a wooden rod which drops in and takes out of, a slot, so the back can lie flat, and you unfold a 3rd springy layer from the seat. The chair was inherited many years ago, OH says it is Arts and Crafts vintage, we like it very much, but it badly needs it's cushions recovering, when I can be bothered.
