It has been a wonderful warm day, not very autumnal at all. We ate our meal outside at the picnic table and the sun felt warm. Has it been good weather for you?
We had afternoon tea but it was getting quite chilly by that point. But other than that it's been a beautiful day here too. It's much more noticeable that we're in the throes of Autumn at night now... although having said that, I ventured out the other night to have a quick spy on the hens in their house, and was perfectly warm at gone 10pm in a sleeveless top!
Ooh sun, you lucky thing! We've had a mild day but very grey unfortunately.

We had quite a lovely day, with rain, and sun but still a bit cool for this time of year. We are supposed to be in spring. Went out to the seaside to have a light lunch at a fish eatery. While sitting outside, drinking in the sea air, rain came down so hard, that we had to dash inside! But all in all, a pleasant day.

It's been a glorious weekend weather wise here. Finally looks like autumn's on the way. Cool at night - I can finally sleep without tossing & turning all night, with my hair and pillow plastered with wet when I wake up. Brillant sunshine, no clouds and high 70s/low 80s. Still no rain. We are in what they are calling a hundred year drought; I think they mean it only happens every hundred years or so. There's talk of water rationing by Thanksgiving. No outside watering of grass, plants, car washing etc. I'm trying to come up with a few creative ideas for saving water for the few plants we have outside. I'm keeping a bucket in the kitchen for water I normally use for washing vegetables, rather than see it disappear down the drain. I'm going to try and put one in the shower to catch water, though not sure with my back back I'll be able to carry it downstairs, going to give it a go. I spoke to my Mum this morning, she said the weather was lovely where she lives in Essex, was sitting outside enjoying a lovely day. Enjoy the rest of your weekend ladies.:)

Oh my that wet cushion, tossing and turning at night! I know that so well, because during our summer we reach highs of as much as 30-32 deg. C. Could call it "plastering" hot! It's miles to hot for me. I would've jumped for joy if our temps. could stay at 22 deg. C! No chance of that though. Oh heck. :(

Here in the south of Scotland it has been misty, dreary and quite dark. Usually we get out first snowfall sometime in October and then nothing for a couple of months, so perhaps it's on its way...

The last time we visited the UK, we stayed in a self catering cottage near Biggar during the first week of October. We actually had quite nice weather, very cold and not a lot of rain at all. We went to Loch Lomond as well and it turned out a beautiful sunny day. The day we left to go Yorkshire for another week, it was bitterly cold (for us!).

Cold and wet in Tasmania. Our garden is so wet if it weren't on a slope we would be waterlogged. A very wet start to spring.

Very quick note as a nother busy morning looms, but on Saturday the weather for my daughters blessing started of with drizzle and I had the caters running around like headless chickens. Then when my daughter was walking to the chapel the drizzle stopped and then by the time we had the reception the sun came out. I told her that was her step father watching over her and he brought out the sunshine and warmth...how lucky were we. Also the caters calmed down too!
