Can anyone recommend any particular British Wines?
No sorry, never really drunk them! I have got recipes for homemade english 'wines' (sparkling fruit drinks, e.g. elderflower) though if you fancy making your own.

We saw a programme on BBC Food "Rick Stein's Food Heroes". He visited a wine estate in the Camel Valley

This (http://www.chilfordhall.co.uk/price_list.htm) is the wine from the vineyard about 5 miles from our house. The Muller-Thurgau Reichensteiner is my favourite - perfect with strawberries. We buy a bottle as a treat if we have visitors for a summer lunch in the garden.
