Hi ladies, I've just had a request from mum in law for a pattern for a crocheted garter. I don't have any pattern which I can recall, so I thought I'll ask if you perhaps have such a pattern. My sis in law's youngest daughter plans on getting married in April next year, and mum in law now want's to crochet a garter for her. Thanks very much! :) xxxx
Sorry for the Capital Letters Oola, I don't mean to shout. xx

I like the sound of this, crocus, but have never seen one. I remember when crocheted alice bands and chockers were in fashio in the 70s, so maybe it is possible to adapt the pattern for one of these. A friend of mine is Turkish and watches Turkish TV every day where at about 11.30am (UK time) there is a 2 hour long crafts programme with the presenters and guests making all kinds of lovely crafts on the show, including lots of modern crochet. One item is always that two male chefs cook Turhish food while the two female presenters crochet the place mats in a 15 minute contest! If you have cable or Sky it might be worth having a look. Good luck, it sounds a great idea.

Hi Jazz, I'll try to link up to that and perhaps also try Google. It sounds a very interesting programme, knitting and cooking. I've just asked Mr C about the Turkish programme but it seems it's not available here. But I'll check anyway. Thanks Jazz! xx

Hi Magic Cochin, thanks very much! It's quite pretty isn't? I'll send it to mum in law and she can start knitting! Thanks again.:)
