when he rings from france he's only 3 if i answer he talks for over half an hour.if grandad answers he wont even say hello.he just says nanny or puts the phone down. i just chatter on like a right twit with him.sing him songs .tell him jokey stories.i think thats why we click i can easily come down to a childs level.

You must be the best grandmom! You know eleanor, my sisters children could'nt say my name when they were little so they started to say "Nannie" or Nanny your grandkids call you.! Today they are grown ups with jobs and homes of their own, but I'm still Nannie. :)

seems you all get the same as I do .The menfolk are not such an easy touch as us soft hearted lot they know they can wind us round their little fingers .

I'm always doing all the asking between boys and dad as well. "Ah mum, you know how to ask, please?" "Mum, won't you ask dad if/for ........"
