If you could play the part and become a famous person from anytime throughout history, who would you choose to be for a few days?

eleanor was the kings sister.she met and fell in love with simon de montford.he wasn't a landed gentry at the time.he was owed an earldom.that he had to claim.they romanced each other ,fell in love and pursuaded the king to allow them to get married. later simon took the side of the people(and himself) he fought the king. eleanor stood by him right to the end.he was murderously killed on the battle field. there daughter married llewelyn ap gryffid a welsh prince.i cried my eyes out when simon was killed on the battlefield.thats where my chat forum name comes from.

Hi! Oola and Eleanor2. I think that I would choose to be one of the Bloomsbury set - either Virginia Woolf or Vita Sackville-West or Vanessa Bell. It must have been great to live such arty and free lives at a time when so many new ideas were flying around.

Otherwise, I would have liked to have been around in the Swinging Sixties as one of the Andy Warhol Factory crowd.

If by being this person we could change the course of history, then I would choose to be Hitler pre WW11, there would be no invasion of Poland, no persecution of the Jews and no War.

In retrospect yes.. however if we did change the past we might not even exist. My parents only met because of the war.

I would like to be one of my female ancestors for a few days and then bring back the information I had collected to the present day. For example, I would like to be one of my Hugoneat ancestors living in France and experience the traumatic journey from there to Southern Ireland in the 17th century and experience the building of their settlement.
Then I would like to be my Maternal Grandmother who, after working for years in the Yorkshire mills, decided to sail for Canada around 1920's and experience setting up home in Canada and meeting my Grandfather. Have you got important pieces of information missing from your family? It is so important to write our present experiences down for our children and their children to know about us.

I would be Queen Victoria when she and her Albert and their children lived on the Isle of Wight, I think they were so in love and happy and I loved the childrens gardens and their little house and own gardening tools.
