What a night

I am feeling quite sorry for myself this morning after having the most awful night .About three days ago I had a shooting pain in my ear and it has now got worse and is giving me pain in my head like being stabbed with needles. I hate going to the doctors but have to relent this morning as just could'nt stand another night like last night .I have phoned for appointment feel fed up seem to be getting a lot of silly ailments all at once but then have to face facts I aint no spring chicken anymore so suppose must be expected. Sorry for my moans and groans .:(

I am so sorry dinger,what an awful thing to have to put up with,there is nothing worse than ear ache/pain etc. Please let us know how you get on at the doctors,and I hope he can stop whatever it is in it's tracks.x

Been to doctors Kate have got some tablets and had a blood test taken . Hope I get some rest tonight am so tired. Have got boys coming for tea so seeing their little faces will cheer me up .

it could just be a purely muscular pain dinger. sometimes when my back is bad, my shoulders freeze up and pull the muscles in my neck and around my skull tight. having treatment on them is really painful (like a massive headache), but after a while it eases and feels so much better.

might also be an ear infection or something?

Whatever it is I hope the tablets are helping and it'll resolve itself soon.

Hope you had a good night's sleep dinger and that maybe your tablets have kicked in. If you don't mind me asking,what tablets were you given?

just pain killers as the doctor wants to check my blood to see if the recurrance of an old illness polymyalgia rhumatica is showing any signs again .I still think it is something with my ear, the pain first began there but travelled up all over one half of my head . Can still feel it but much much better today .I am grateful for that .Thanks for your concern girls .

hope so am always afraid what they will say .
