Hi all, I feel that I have to put some fitted wardrobes into our main bedroom to make it seem more attractive to potential buyers. We have never gone in for fitted wardrobes and instead use a free standing chest of drawers each, as I have always thought that the interior of wardrobes have quite a lot of wasted space in them. I have a built in single cupboard in the bedroom that I could turn into a wardrobe. Do you think that this would be enough, or should I get some built in ones? All advice welcome.

Jazz I wouldn't put fitted wardrobes in and wish we never had because it doesn't give you a chance to have a change around, you are stuck with them.I think it is a positive selling point that you don't have them. X

My daughter and her husband ripped out a fitted wardrobe as soon as they moved in. I think people prefer to see the space and then they can choose how to use it.

Thanks, that's very reassuring. At least that's one task that iI won't have to bother with.
