Posting Photographs

When I click Management attachments nothing happens. Please, what is supposed to happen or is there an easier way to post a photo. Thanks.

Hi Pippa, a window should open when you press manage attachments.

"Browse" and "Upload" will appear in the window.

Then click on "browse" to collect your picture from the file you stored it in.

Select the particular picture, left click on it and then click on "open".

Then click on "upload".

Wait a few seconds and you will notice if it's been uploaded.

Close the window and then click on the paperclip/attach symbol in the "message" window. xx

Thanks Crocus, I have got as far as browse but don't know what is meant by 'file'. I don't seem to be able to get the photo's to show. Will have to get help. Many thanks.

Hi Pippa, the "file" is where you stored the pictures on your computer. It will be usualle stored in a c:/My documents/My pitures. So when you click on "browse", go to this location. Now select the picture and click on "open". If you have a digital camera, then you must've uploaded the pictures from the camera's memory stick onto your computer and then stored it in a file on your computer. (The c:/My documents/My Pictures file I mentioned above.)

I have followed all of the above but it keeps crashing my internet connection, something about protecting my data.

Hi Crocus, I am new to the site from CL, and really enjoying familiarizing myself with the site. It is just what I am looking for. Thank you for the tips on loading a photo. Will try it out in a few days.
